Financial Checkup

Financial Check-up

Financial Check-up is the first step in developing a financial roadmap that begins where you are and leads you to where you want to be. It answers the following questions along the way:

·       How much money do I need to have saved before I can retire?

·       Will I run out of money or is there a way to guarantee my money will outlive me?

·       Do I have enough life insurance?

·       My budget is already strapped so how do I find ways to save in addition to making ends meet?

Financial Check-ups are customized for each client according to their personal and financial goals and include the following components as needed:

·       A debt elimination plan

·       Financial protection plan

·       Savings analysis

·       401K Review

·       Basic Budgeting for daily use

·       Planning for the future

·       A list of recommendations geared towards reaching your financial goals

Financial Check-ups are conducted face-to-face or via Zoom Meetings based on client preference and location.

This is a FREE service.

How long is the workshop?

The Financial Fitness workshop is one hour long. It includes 50 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of Q&A at the end. Individuals may stay later or schedule a private appointment to ask more questions if needed.

What information is covered in the workshop?

Judy answers common financial questions from across the financial arena and teaches participants what to be aware of and how to benefit from each.

Topics of discussion include (but are not limited to):

·       The different types of life insurance on the market and how they work.

·       Debt management vs Debt elimination plans.

·       How much should be contributed to a 401K and how can it be used to enhance savings?

·       What is the difference between an IRA and a ROTH IRA and which one is best for you?

·       What is the value of adding a Trust in addition to having a Will?

·       Red flag alerts make participants aware of common financial scams as they learn how to avoid becoming a victim.

What does it Cost to host this Workshop?

Judy offers Financial Fitness Workshops as a community service and does not charge a fee for this service. However, an honorarium or travel cost reimbursement may be necessary depending on the distance or any required travel, i.e., mileage, airfare, and lodging for long-distance face-to-face presentations.
